Signet’s reusable strapping solution helps Soko & Co. more than halve their packaging costs, reduce their strapping time by 80%, and create a more sustainable warehouse.
For over 15 years home organisational company, Soko & Co., have been helping their customers ‘declutter their world’ with high-quality organisation and storage solutions. Soko is the Swahili word for market — a vibrant and exciting place with plenty of goods for every use — and that’s exactly what they aim to encapsulate.
Starting out as part of a national franchise, they branched out to become a fully independent small business and now stock around 6,000 products. Today, they remain 100% Australian owned and operated and are Perth’s leading home storage and declutter destination with three stores across the city.
Previously, Soko & Co. were using pallet wrap to contain their pallets while storing them. As a business built off providing sustainable storage solutions to their customers, the plastic waste they were generating every time they had to get a product from a pallet didn’t sit well with them.

Soko & Co. now use the Velcro Logistrap, a rugged, reusable strapping solution, to strap all of the pallets in their warehouse. Since switching, they’ve eliminated 10,800m of pallet wrap from landfill, and have improved efficiency by 80%.
“The Velcro Logistrap has been incredible! We no longer use any pallet wrap when storing our pallets, and getting products off the pallets is now so much quicker. We just take off one strap, grab the products, and strap it back up.”
So far, Soko & Co. have not had to replace one Velcro Logistrap, and in just one year, they have reduced their packaging costs by 53%.
