Paper Packing Tape

There’s no denying that packaging tape is one of the most important assets in any warehouse or eCommerce business. Traditional plastic packing tape can’t be recycled and removing it from cardboard boxes to dispose of separately is tedious work. Luckily, there are recyclable and even biodegradable alternatives available, so your business and consumers can look toward an eco-friendlier future.

Signet’s Own Kraft Paper Tape is ideal for eco-conscious eCommerce businesses, as it provides a neat matte finish with a sustainable look and feel. Plus, the customers on the receiving end won’t have to worry about removing tape from the packaging before they recycle the box. The tape is made with a synthetic rubber adhesive and can be applied using a tape dispenser, so your packages will be sealed safely and easily.

For heavier-duty applications, Tesa Paper Tape suits a wide variety of cardboard qualities and combines high holding power with good tensile strength.

We also stock a Kraft Water Activated Tape, a 100% biodegradable and recyclable alternative to plastic tape. This tape can be applied by running a wet cloth or sponge over the water activated adhesive, or by using our Water Activated Tape Dispenser. Once activated, the water activated adhesive penetrates the fibres of the cardboard, creating a cohesive seal between the box and tape.
