What is colour coding aerosol spray?

Colour coding spray is used to colour code and organise steel. Each colour is designed for high performance and clear visibility on steel products and is made to meet Australian Industry Steel Standards (AS 2700, BS 5252). There are 23 colours available including: signal red, rose pink, redgum, marigold, warm white, biscuit, golden tan, sunflower, custard, violet, lilac, bluebell, dark grey blue, turquoise, bottle green, jade, serpentine, black, white, light blue, lime green, silver and gold.

What do you use fluoro marking spray for?

Fluoro marking spray is designed for outdoors where distinctive and easy to see markings are needed. This means it is suited for forestry, timber and local government authorities. The paint has built in fluorescing capabilities which makes the paint marks brighten to strong, highly visible colour within minutes.

How do stress grading inks work?

Timber is stress graded to indicate what it can be used for. The grading indicates the strength, stiffness and density of the wood and can be done either by machine or visual stress grading. Signet’s stress grading inks are applied to timber through automatic stress grading machines. The ink is light-fast, compatible with all machines and available in red, black and green.

What timber branding products do you have?

Signet makes custom timber branders which are handheld and indicate the timber grade, mill number, name and logo. The hand held brander is self-inking and can be used on rough sawn or dressed timber. Signet also makes the ink needed for the hand held brander. The ink is dye-based, permanent and light-fast. Colours available include black, red, blue, green, orange and violet.
