Aussie family-owned farm, Marland Mushrooms partner with Signet to manufacture compost sheets for their mushroom beds and improve efficiency in their ordering process.
Marland Mushrooms were one of the first to enter the Aussie mushroom growing industry when they started their family business back in 1947. Their mission was to supply Australians with the highest quality produce possible through being Aussie grown and locally owned.
Going on three generations now, Marland Mushrooms proudly remain an Aussie family-owned business with a 1.1 hectare temperature controlled growing facility in Stapylton, Queensland. They are Australia’s largest and oldest mushroom farmers and grow, harvest, and deliver over 5,000 tonnes of mushrooms annually to Australia’s markets and major grocery stores.

One part of this process is the compost sheets used to contain the water within their mushroom beds and prevent it from falling into the beds below. The compost sheets are laid out in the mushroom beds before being topped with compost and the mushroom casing.
Previously, Marland Mushrooms had been sourcing their compost sheets from an incumbent supplier. However, they weren't receiving the overall reliability and support they needed in a supplier, so they started searching for an alternative — that's when they found Signet.
