Taking it back to the 80’s, John and Wendy Gordon started a local nursery selling native Australian flora in central west NSW. Fast forward almost 40 years, while the business has remained in the family, the produce is now being shipped Australia wide, all year-round.
The “Rose Revolution” is what second generation owners, Luke and Beth Gordon, have deemed Eureka Plants mission. Selling not just the traditional roses you’re likely to find in your grandmother’s garden, Eureka Plants offers everything from Climbing Roses, Hybrid Tea Roses, David Austin Roses to Patio Roses.
As the roses bloomed the business blossomed, and Luke and Beth soon found their previous packaging solution was not able to keep up with their increasing volume of orders. Sourcing their tape and cartons from multiple suppliers was also proving inefficient timewise.
Their local carton store did not stock a suitable range to match their varying sized orders and flowers, and other suppliers charged a high price for minimum order quantities. Eureka Plants were also receiving extra delivery charges from Australia Post, as their previous tape was peeling off the cartons and hanging during transit.

For every online order, Eureka Plants now place their roses in a lining bag and seal with Heavy Duty Tape. Each order is then packed into a Signet Shipping Carton and sealed with Heavy Duty Tape.
