As the name suggests, tall shipping cartons stand tall or higher off the ground when compared to other types of cartons. This means the height dimension is always the longest dimension in relation to the length and the width of the carton.
What is this carton used for?
The tall carton is an economical solution to packing tall or long shaped items such as paper rolls, posters or construction plans. The tall carton is sometimes mistaken for the long carton when both are sealed with tape, however the difference can be found on the opening of each box. As the tall carton has a smaller length and width the opening at the top of the box is relatively small when compared to the long carton which has the length as its longest dimension.
How many sizes are available?
There are 4 sizes of tall cartons available. The smallest size is 100mm x 100mm x 800mm (length x width x height) while the largest size is 350mm x 150mm x 1200mm.
