Bare and Boho improve efficiency by 50% in their warehouse with Signet's reusable strapping solution

With her first son on the way, mumtrepeneur, Jordan McGregor, was curious to find ways she could reduce waste and better manage the household budget with a baby. Finding a lack of affordable, high-quality reusable products for bubs on the market, she set out to create her first range of cloth nappies, and Bare and Boho was born.
A few years later, an appearance on Shark Tank Australia skyrocketed their brand to a national level, and by 2020 they'd secured their first campaign with Aldi Australia across their 500 stores nationwide. Today, they sell a range of reusable and eco-friendly products for both mum and bub through their eCommerce store and retailers worldwide.
With their products being centred around sustainability they’ve always felt it was important to reflect this commitment throughout their business. However, as they grew and moved into their warehouse on the Gold Coast, Queensland, a hurdle they faced was finding sustainable ways to secure their pallets of products.

Bare and Boho started working with Signet three years ago while on the hunt for Kraft Mailers for their eCommerce orders. As they grew their business and we grew our eco-friendly range, they began incorporating more packaging solutions into their business.
When moving into their warehouse Bare and Boho implemented Signet’s Eco-Friendly Pallet Wrap solution to wrap all their pallets for shipping and storing. While this was an ideal sustainable solution for shipping, they still felt uncomfortable with the waste they generated when storing pallets.
“When we replenish our pick facing shelves, it’s a lot of taking pallets down, cutting the Pallet Wrap and then rewrapping. Not only was this time consuming but it required us to go through a lot of Pallet Wrap. Although the Pallet Wrap is eco-friendly, we wanted to see if there was a reusable alternative.”

Since introducing them, Bare and Boho have nearly eliminated their warehouse pallet wrap waste and achieved a 50% time-saving. They’ll also look to reduce their long-term packaging costs as the strap is reusable and they haven’t had to replace one yet.
