What is a self seal bag?

Self seal bags are a low density polyethylene bag with a snap-locking seal panel at the top of the bag. The seal is airtight, reusable and easy to seal by hand which makes this type of bag ideal for packaging and storing small objects. Self seal bags are food safe and dust, dirt and moisture proof to protect the goods inside.

Are there different types of self seal bags?

There are 2 different types of self seal bags available: transparent or with panels. The transparent alternative is ideal for applications where you need to see the bag's complete contents. This type is also made in 2 different thicknesses: 40um (micron) and 75um.

The panel bag is designed with 3 white panels in the middle of the bag to allow you to record the bag's contents.

What sizes are available?

In the 40um transparent self seal bags there are 12 sizes available. The smallest size is 50mm x 75mm while the largest is 350mm x 450mm. The 75um transparent alternative has 10 sizes on offer. The smallest is 50mm x 75mm and the largest size is 400mm. The 40um self seal bag with panel has 7 sizes to choose from. The smallest of these is 50mm x 75mm while the largest is 230mm x 300mm.
