1. What general safety items are available?

• There are many general site safety products available which will be suitable for any environment; such as offices, warehouses, and job sites. These products include: anti-slip spray and tape, barriers, convex mirrors, danger tags, floor mats, height safety equipment, safety padlocks and step ladders.

2. Do you have anything for fire safety?

• Yes. For fire detection Signet stocks the Chubb smoke alarm which is highly sensitive and reliable and complies with Australian standard AS 3786 1993. For eliminating a fire there are fire extinguishers and fire blankets available. The fire extinguishers offered include CO2 and dry powder fires which means there is a suitable extinguisher for wood, paper, flammable liquids and live electrical equipment. For situations where an extinguisher is not appropriate there is the Chubb fire blanket which can extinguish flames on a victim, put out small fires or protect the wearer from heat and flames.

3. What barriers are available?

• Barriers are typically used to separate a dangerous area from a safe area. As there can be many different circumstances it is important to find the right barrier for the application. Signet offers barrier mesh, hazard net, heavy duty barrier fence, and portable expanding barriers. Barrier mesh, heavy duty barrier fencing and hazard netting are all ideal for harsh outdoor environments such as construction or mining zones. Each of these is UV stabilised, highly visible and easy to install. The portable expanding barrier can be used both indoors and outdoors as it is made from non-corrosive aluminium. It is portable and lightweight and includes a wall receiver as well as wall/sign mounting brackets.  

4. What items do you have for car park safety?

• Car parks can be a place of frequent accidents and hazards if not fitted out adequately. Signet offers permanent fixtures such as speed humps and end caps, wheel stops and car park bollards. There are also temporary solutions available including t-top bollards, safety chain, reflector line, breakdown triangles, and traffic cones.  

5. Do you have anything to indicate a hazard?

• Yes. Clearly communicating a hazard or potential hazard is an important part of site safety, so Signet offers highly visible options. This includes: danger tags, hazard net, hazard tapes, lamps, premium safety tube and swing signs.
