Signet’s Own Line Marking Aerosols are best used on timber, bitumen and concrete.

How long should I shake the Line Marking Aerosol for?

Shake the can for at least 30 seconds after the marble starts rattling. The can should also be shaken regularly during use, every couple of minutes, to ensure consistency is maintained.

How many metres can I get out of a Line Marking can?

A 500g can of Signet’s Own Line Marking Aerosols produces approximately 80m of line, single coat under standard conditions (i.e. 60mm line width).

How long does it take for your Line Marking Paints to dry?

Signet’s Own Line Marking Aerosols take 5-7 minutes to dry per coat. These times are dependent on the weather conditions and number of coats applied.

What is the easiest way to remove Line Marking Paint if an error is made?

Once dry, Signet’s Line Marking Paints cannot be removed, however, Signet does offer a black or grey Line Marking Aerosol to match typical ground/floors colours and can be used to cover errors.

How do I prevent my Line Marking can from blocking up?

To prevent blocked nozzles, you need to ensure the aerosol can is properly prepared before spraying and is cleared after spraying. To prepare the can, shake for at least 30 seconds after the marble starts rattling. Once you finish spraying, hold the can upright and spray the can until the spray becomes clear of paint and there is no residue left on the nozzle.

How do I store my Line Marking cans?

Signet’s Own Line Marking Cans should be stored in a cool and dry environment, below 50°C.
