How do I assemble the Nelson Pallet Wrapper?
Before you tackle your pallet, it’s important to ensure your Nelson Pallet Wrapper is set up correctly! We break down the steps to assemble it below, but if you’re on the go, you can check out our video too.
1. First things first, put the base plate on.
2. Now it’s time to place your film on. While the Nelson Pallet Wrapper works with any kind of Hand Pallet Wrap, but for optimal use we recommend the Ultimate Hemmed Film. So, slide that on after your base plate.
3. Next, place the top end cap on, ensuring the cap fits neatly into the core.
4. Now it's time for the brake assembly. Slide that down on top of the top end cap, and make sure you hear the click! That’s how you know it's in the right position.
5. To ensure your film is on properly, you will now need to tension the roll by adjusting in a clockwise direction.
6. Lastly, it’s time to put the handle on! Slide this onto the top and click in. Now you’re ready to start wrapping!
How do I wrap with the Nelson Pallet Wrapper?
Once you have assembled your Nelson Pallet Wrapper, it’s time to start wrapping! Check out our seven easy steps to get you wrapping like a pro!
1. Like all hand pallet wrapping, your first step is always to secure the film to the base of your pallet.
2. For optimal performance, ensure the Nelson Pallet Wrapper is positioned at a 90-degree angle, and then wrap at least four revolutions around the base.
3. Continue wrapping, ensuring you have at least a 50% overlap for each revolution.
4. Once you reach thigh height, place your hand on the bottom of the base for ease of use and continue to wrap up the pallet.
5. If you have a tall pallet, once you reach chest height you can flip the dispenser and continue wrapping.
6. Once you reach the top of your pallet, secure your load by wrapping at least four revolutions.
7. Lastly, cut the film at least 30cm away from the roll to create a tail, and then press it firmly onto the film.
