Sustainable packaging practices are on the rise Australia-wide. Every day, another Aussie business makes the move towards a more sustainable future.

We've enlisted the Australian Packaging Covenant Sustainability Manager, Jayne Paramor, to answer the top 5 questions the industry association finds itself answering when any of these businesses start the journey towards a more environmentally friendly operation. We'll be asking Jayne about the definition of recycled content, the Australasian Recycling Label, single-use plastic regulation, recyclable packaging design, and compostable packaging.

Having commenced her career delivering analytical market research tools and services to the consumer packaged goods industry globally, Jayne has worked with some of the world's largest retailers and manufacturers on everything from new product development to category management, loyalty programs to shopper insights, through to strategic store layout design. Jayne developed a deep understanding of the packaged goods sector and the challenges presented by a constantly shifting shopper landscape.

Jayne's FMCG experience provides a solid foundation in consumer products and packaging, over which she applies the sustainability lens, bringing the two sides together to support APCO's work of delivering on the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
