A significant proportion of Cedar Hill’s native species are sourced through the approved hand-harvesting of wild plants in the rugged Australian bush. Rather than clearing land for large-scale cultivation, the team works carefully within existing ecosystems, harvesting native foliage by hand while preserving the surrounding environment.
“With wild harvesting, everything has to be done by hand,” says Cedar Hill General Manager, James Roemermann. “Because of this, PPE, especially quality gloves, is incredibly important.”
