From your own business, to your local grocery store, take- away and fast food cafes or 24-hour pharmacies, plastic bag bans are now in place in most states of Australia.
In June 2019, the Victorian Government announced it would be implementing a ban on single-use plastic shopping bags across the state from November.
As of November 2019, this means that all states and territories in Australia except for NSW will have a plastic bag ban in place.
