Terms and Conditions of Trade
Your invoices will arrive with your goods, and no further statement will be issued. Your payment is due any time within 30 days of the month of your purchase. There is a minimum purchase of just $50.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, simply call us within 31 days. We will arrange collection and replace your order, or refund you in full. We will always be glad to pay freight where the error is ours. Understandably, special orders such as capital equipment or custom items made to non-stock specifications can only be replaced if the error is ours.
To protect you from obligation, and to protect us, the ownership of the goods delivered does not pass until you have paid in full. (Of course, Signet Pty Ltd reserves the right to take possession of the goods if considered necessary in circumstances where the account is unreasonably outside normal trading terms).
Countdown Clock Disclaimer
The countdown clock located at the top of the Signet Website indicates the time left for same day despatch of orders from our Brisbane, Sydney and Townsville warehouses. The cut-off time for same day despatch of orders is 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) for orders despatched from Brisbane and Townsville, and 2pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDST) for orders despatched from Sydney. Despatch location is determined by Signet’s delivery system.
For new accounts the cut-off time for same day despatch of orders is 1pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) for orders despatched from Brisbane and Townsville, and 1pm Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (AEDST) for orders despatched from Sydney.
Once you login to the website we are able to display the time left to cut-off for same day despatch for your location. If you are a new customer or not logged in we use your system clock to determine the time left. We can not be held responsible if your system clock is incorrect in determining the time left for same day despatch and any orders that are not received before the 2pm cut-off.
