The company began trading in 1968 as Ace Marking Equipment and was renamed Signet Pty Ltd in 1989. Since that time it has become one of the Top 70 Companies in Queensland. In 2000, the company separated its Packaging & Marking division from its Labelling & Coding division and formed two distinct companies controlled by one parent company. The Packaging & Marking Division kept the Signet name, while the Labelling & Coding Division was renamed insignia. The parent company is known as Winson Group.
Signet Pty Ltd is now one of Australia’s leading distributors of Warehouse Consumables, Packaging Materials and Safety Supplies. We are also a leading manufacturer of Industrial Marking Products and Stretchfilm and Plastics that we produce on-site.

We also have a Sales Branch in Townsville to service North Queensland, Northern Territory and Papua New Guinea. Western Australia and New Zealand are serviced by Signet Distributors.
